Ashley & Jack

Welcome to our show! Mainly based around eccentric music and eclectic debate (not to mention talking about Neighbours) we broadcast from 5 - 7 on Wednesday afternoons and love to receive any requests or comments so phone, email or drop us a letter if you so wish!

For the dedicated listeners among you, you will know that Peter Sephton and Charlie Lindlar have departed the Cotswolds in search of higher education; however we do have replacements in the form of Jack and Ashley…Introducing our ‘Presenters’ in order of general mental stability and dependability:

Trudy Sin Han Tsang (A true Anglo-Asian fusion name)

Here we have a 16 year old attendant of Chipping Campden School. She lives at Simon’s takeaway in Campden, go in on Friday/ Saturday nights to see her distractedly bringing out orders. Trudy is very nice, I mean it, an incredibly nice person, you can tell this because she never ever swears and is the glue that holds our show together. If you see her you will recognise her by her sleek glasses (bought in Hong Kong) impeccable fashion sense and insanely neat hair, and expression that says, “now really, do you think that’s wise?” although that may only be when she’s with me… added to this she is tall, slender and a rather skilled badminton player… but please don’t hate her for that. If you’re going to hate her for anything, hate her for the fact she always gets straight A’s. Trudy mainly plays bouncy indie music (I think…) MGMT and John Mayer are examples of herfavourites.

Jack Henry Jeffery “slightly” Salt”y”

Just moved here from Portugal, Jack is a bit of a breath of fresh air, despite his occasional preference for metal, as he brings us snacks (a.k.a num nums) and laughter… As the weeks fly by we shall inform you of hisprogress, from his first gig in the UK to his first foam banana… Also a student of CCS, Salty can often be found watching TV in a media/literature/business/geography lessons, daydreaming about hair styling tools, beaches in Portugal or the episode of the OC he watched last night for the very first time…

Ashley Jackson

Here is our new Lindlar, already keeping up with tradition by occasionally being slightly late due to rehearsals for a production of West Side Story… You will be able to recognise this lad by his scooter (complete with pink handlebars) and the peculiar high pitched noises he emits while on air… Fond of gaming, his girlfriend Holly and rather more mainstream music than you may have heard with us before, Ashley will show you a different side of NCCR… It’s CRAAAAZY….

Lydia Jane Gray (call her what you will, she’ll be too dazed and confused to notice either way)

Unlike others before me I am shamelessly milking the opportunity of NCCR to boost my ArtsAward as I am far too lazy (and anti-monarchy) to attempt anything as hearty as the Duke of Edinburgh Award…I like reading difficult Russian literature in order to avoid coursework, watching overly angry American drama to avoid revision, and playing Frisbee with my friends to get out of walking the dog (an over excitable brown collie named Rafferty). One day the world will be my Empire and everyone shall have their own radioshow if they so wish, in the meantime you have to put up with us… with my main contribution being hysterical (and never explained) laughter, in your face insults and Dairy Milk.
