Hi
This week on Cotswold Country we will be featuring an artist who has been one of our favourites and we are sure yours for many years "Tracy Byrd "
With so many top ten singles in the US Billboard charts and constant touring in the USA sadly Tracy has never been able to fit in a trip to the UK so this week we feature his Hit album "No Ordinary Man "

And at 1.30pm the Classic segment featuring Johnny Horton , Conway Twitty , Porter Wagoner , and Jerry lee Lewis .

This week on Cotswold Country we have a very special programme which celebrates " USA Independance Day 4th July ".
On 4th of July 1776 in the city of Philadelphia representatives of the 13 original states of " New Englande " met to declare themselves independant of the mother country and so began the creation of the worlds largest superpower the "The United States of America ".
John Bowlt the presenter of Cotswold Country will be talking to three young people , Jack Gibson , Penny Halling, and Shaun Goff, from the local Chipping Campden School live in the studio about the USA and answering their questions and hearing their opinions of this world power .
All this interspersed with great Country music related to "Independance Day "
We hope you can join us for some if not all of this very special programme on NCCR 12.00pm - 2.00pm this Saturday July 3rd
Sincerely John Bowlt

Hi y,all
Hopefully back in the groove after my little lay off with gall stones .
This weeks programme features in my humble opinion the best Country Band in the UK , Albert Lee and Hogans Heroes .
Their album "Like This "which we are featuring on the show is absolutely superb and Albert Lee has to be one of the best guitarists every to emerge from the UK music scene over the last 50 years . Brilliant !
Easy listening at around 1.00pm will feature two tracks from the album plus Crystal Gayle and Linda Rondstat plus at around 1.30pm the classic segment features Tammy Wynette , Johnny Cash , the sadly just died Jimmy Dean , and Lynne Anderson .
Hope you can join us for some if not all of the show 12-2.00pm this Saturday on NCCR . all the best John Bowlt

Hi
This week in a packed programme we will be featuring an album from a female singer we do not hear much of on this side of the pond Chely Wright . Released in 1997 it features two of her biggest hits "Let me in " and "Shut up and drive " plus many more great racks .
Also as you will recall we featured on the programme a few weeks ago a young lady from Moreton in Marsh Miss Chloe Hanks who sadly lost her voice on the day and was unable to sing . You will therefore be very pleased to hear that Chloe will be returning this week to sing two tracks from her idols album "Fearless " by Taylor Swift . Listen out for Chloe live at around 12.30pm .
Plus of course the usual segments , Easy listening at around 1.00pm ,this week featuring two tracks from Chely Wright and one each from Keith Urban and one from George Strait , and The Classics at around 1.30pm this week tracks from Don Gibson , Carl Perkins ,Patti Page , and Elvis Presley , yes Elvis Presley on a Country Show !
So we hope you can join us for some or all of Cotswold Country this week from 12.2.00pm on NCCR . al the best John Bowlt

Hi
This week on Cotswold Country we are again featuring the great Alan Jackson . Last week we found so much good material and did not have the time to play it that we thought lets try and fit in as many of his tracks as possible this week .
Plus as the Dixie Chicks are in the news this week with two of the group touring in the UK under a different name we thought it would be a good idea to also feature the group in the show .
With easy listening at around 1.00pm featuring two tracks from Alan Jackson and two from the Chicks and the classic segment this week at around 1.30pm featuring , Porter Wagoner , Dottie West , Slim Whitman , and Jeannie C Riley ,should be a great show .
We hope you can join us for Cotswold Country at 12.00pm this Saturday on NCCR
all the best John Bowlt
