Joe Jury

Posted by: robbeden in Untagged  on

From one cool dude to another; hot on the heels of our interview with Peter Knight from Gigspanner we have another surprise guest lined up for you on the Unsigned Community this Saturday morning. Joe Jury, the infamous singer with Kamikaze Union will be in the hot seat just after 11. Joe is branching out and he'll be playing his music, telling us about his plans and giving us an insight into to the life of a 16 year musician from Blockley.

Talking of Blockley, a full house at St George's Hall for Peter Knight's gig. A breathtaking, magical evening was had by all and a real treat for Valentine's Eve. Romance was in the air, so much so that copies of Peter's new album "Lipreading the Poet" were selling like hotcakes. A "must have" album for the genuine music lover.

Steeleye Span

Posted by: robbeden in Untagged  on

So many people have asked us when we're going to start a Folk music programme. The answer is - as soon as we find a presenter!!

But if you're a Folk fan then we have a real treat for you this Saturday on The Unsigned Community. Live in the studio will be Steeleye Span's Peter Knight to talk about one of his projects "Gigspanner". Peter's just moved to the Cotswolds & he'll be making a couple of live appearances locally, in Cirencester at the end of January and Blockley in early February.

We're hoping that Peter will become a regular visitor to NCCR. Hear the first instalment this Saturday on The Unsigned Community 10am to 12 noon.
