Hi

this week we are featuring an album from an artist not too well known in the Uk .

The artist is called Kimber Clayton and the album "Good girls love bad boys "

has been in my collection since 1998 and I have played the title track a number of times on my programmes over the years since but have not really been right through the album and I thought this week I would do so and found some great tracks . This week we are therefore featuring the album as our album of the week and will playing ,if we can fit them in, most of the tracks from the album.

With the easy listening segment at around 1.00pm featuring 2 tracks from the album plus Billy ray Cyrus ( Miley 's father ) and John Anderson

and the classics this week featuring Waylon Jennings ,Linda Rondstat ,John Denver, and Carlene Carter at 1.30pm

should be a great show

hope you can join us at 12.00pm on NCCR Cotswold Country

all the best John Bowlt

Hi

Here's a heads-up about Sunday's Theme Time Show which will feature songs all about FLYING.

During the show you will encounter:

A song by a band and a singer that didn't exist

A song written as the theme tune to the first ever drama shown in colour on BBC1

A song which may or may not have been written about the singer's pet Labrador

A song banned by the radio for being about drugs when it was really about flying across the Atlantic to London

Another song about flying across the Atlantic in the opposite direction hoping customs don't search your suitcase cos it's full of illegal stuff

A song about being in love with an air stewardess and what a drag it is she's away so often

Two songs about balloons...

Plus loads more ace tunes of the aeronautical persuasion.

Lift off is at 5.30 on Sunday afternoon so why not buckle up and enjoy the ride?

Thanks for listening
